The stars parade on the red carpet of the “Italian Oscars”: discover all the looks of the David di Donatello 2018
Spotlight on Italian cinema. The 63rd edition of the David di Donatello, the Italian Oscars, will be staged in Rome.
To attract our attention were the wonderful and sophisticated dresses chosen by our celebrities among the most important Italian designers. And how could it not be otherwise.
The most sought-after actresses and celebrities of contemporary Italian cinema flaunted great soirée dresses. Long and sober models in dark shades, as in the case of Monica Bellucci, Luisa Ranieri and Paola Cortellesi, but also austere suits borrowed from the male wardrobe, such as those chosen by Jasmine Trinca, Elisabetta Pellini and Piera Detassis. All together a pin with message: “Common Dissent“. The Italian equivalent of the #MeToo international movement that our actresses have chosen to wear to sensitize the public against gender discrimination and violence against women – as also happened at the 2018 Oscars and the Golden Globe Awards 2018.
Let’s see some of our favourite looks:
Marvelous Jasmine Trinca, who in her super refined “manlike” Prada suit has been awarded the coveted Best Actress statuette for “Fortunata” film.
Also splendid was Claudia Gerini, awarded as Best Supporting Actress for her role in “Ammore and Malavita” (Best Film of the Year): the Roman actress has received the award with a strapless dress in black tulle with pink bow at the waist by Dolce & Gabbana.
On the red carpet, even Valeria Golino did not go unnoticed in the sumptuous Valentino dress with velvet bodice and skirt with precious decorations and a neckline to make the head spin, and her colleague Monica Bellucci in lurex longdress with audacious Balmain slit.
Particularly sensual and glamorous was the Prada dress by Micaela Ramazzotti. A simple long and black dress with very soft shapes, but it was a surprise effect dress: nothing suggests that there is a pronounced sexy neckline behind it.
During this star shining event there were also colorful outfits such as those chosen by the beautiful Giulia Elettra Goretti who wowed the red carpet with a dress in bright colors signed Blugirl of fuchsia color with very soft lines.
Tess Masazza, the well-known influencer wore a long green dress. A flower on the left shoulder pad, a black waist belt and a white clutch bag contributed to embellish the outfit.
Among the men there was a great flourishing of tuxedos, bow ties, tuxedos and elegant outfits. Just like women, even the men have opted for a total black.
For fame and beauty stands out among these Roberto Bolle. The famous dancer, in fact, wore a suit, shirt and black bow tie signed by Dolce & Gabbana. In total black, very elegant like a gentlemen were Steven Spielberg, Ferzan Ozpetek in Giorgio Armani and Pierfrancesco Favino in Tom Ford.
